Setelah melakukan analisis terhadap aliran air dengan menggunakan feature Flow Direction dan FLow Accumulation, maka pertanyaan berikutnya adalaha bagaimana cara kita untuk mendapatkan aliran sungai dalam bentuk Polyline Shapefile? Caranya cukup mudah. Ada beberapa tahapan yang harus dilakukan, yakni:

Data Dem Flow Accumulation

Sebagai contoh saya mengambil data raster Flow Accumulation dari artikel sebelumnya (Cek disini). Data raster Flow Accumulation dapat dilihat pada gambar berikut ini.

Hasil Flow Accumulation. Warna kuning merepresentasikan cell dengan nilai yang besar. Nilai ini dapat diartikan sebagai titik terkumpul dan mengalirnya air

Raster Calculator tool (Spatial Analyst Tools > Map Algebra > Raster Calculator)

Didalam box yang ada di Raster Calculator, ketik persamaan berikut ini:


Nilai 40058 dapat dilihat pada Layer Properties – Symbology. Nilai tersebut merupakan nilai cell terendah dari hasil Flow Accumulation. Lihat gambar dibawah ini.

Setelah itu, klik OK. Kita akan memperoleh layer baru dengan nilai lebih besar 40058. Hasilnya dapat dilihat sebagai berikut.

Jalankan Feature Raster To Polyline tool (Conversion Tools > From Raster > Raster to Polyline)

Feature bertujuan untuk mengkonversi layer raster menjadi polyline sehingga kita bisa dapatkan aliran sungai berupa shapefile. Input dari proses ini adalah raster flow accumulation yang telah diproses melalui raster calculator. Lihat gambar dibawah ini.
